Install the Uploader

WoW addons can't send data over the web, so VoidScout uploads go through a small open-source companion app you install once. It quietly drains the fight summaries the addon already captured (with your consent) and posts them to voidscout.io — then keeps your profile current on its own. Without it the addon still works fully; it just can't share your data or refresh your online profile.

  1. Install the addon. Get VoidScout on CurseForge (or via the CurseForge app) and log into WoW once so it can start recording. On first launch it asks your consent to capture — say yes.
  2. Download the uploader using the button above, and put it anywhere you like (Desktop is fine).
  3. Run it once. It finds your World of Warcraft folder automatically, reads what the addon saved, and uploads it. Leave it running (or re-run it after you play) — it re-checks about every 15 minutes and only sends new fights.
  4. You're live. Your profile appears at voidscout.io/character/<region>/<realm>/<name>, and your in-game scores refresh on the next sync.

Windows SmartScreen note

The uploader isn't code-signed yet, so Windows may show a “Windows protected your PC” prompt the first time. Click More info → Run anyway. It's open source — you can read every line or build it yourself from the source on GitHub.

What it sends — and what it doesn't

Don't want to install anything? You can drag-and-drop a single combat log to get scored once, no app required.
